The short version

The household figures you type into LongLens are stored in your own browser and are never sent to us. We have no accounts and no analytics, and we set no cookies of our own.

Who we are

LongLens is operated by [YOUR LEGAL NAME], [YOUR ADDRESS]. You can reach us at [YOUR CONTACT EMAIL].

Your household data

Income, outgoings, housing details, reserves, assumptions and scenario branches are saved in your browser's local storage on the device you are using. Every calculation runs in your browser. We cannot see, recover or delete this data, because we never receive it.

You can export it as JSON or CSV, or erase it, from the Data page in the app. Clearing your browser's site data also removes it.

Subscriptions and payment

If you subscribe to LongLens Pro, payment is handled by Stripe. Stripe collects your email address, card details and billing information directly; we never see your card number. To confirm that a subscription is active, our site asks Stripe for its status using the subscription identifier, which is also stored in your browser as your licence key.

Stripe's handling of your information is described in its own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

Other services the site relies on

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data held about you. Because we do not hold your household data, those requests mostly concern payment records held by Stripe; contact us at [YOUR CONTACT EMAIL] and we will help.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above will change with it.
